Conventional will hit your lower back more anyway. I'm curious. Where do you row to on the bent over rows? I usually try to do any rowing exercise to where I touch benching. I'm not sure if that's even right, but it's what seemed logical.

What I lift doesn't qualify as heavy weights, so I have to think, so I can appear smarter than i am lol

ME Bench(sorta)

4 Brd(purple band, unequipped)
405x1x3
455x2x3

No Brd(arch bar, equipped)
585x3 nt
675x2 nt
725x1 nt

CG Floor Press(160# chain, unequipped)
315x1x5
365x2x3

A little lighter day today...felt strong, but figured I don't have to go high 8's to 9 every workout lol Tried the arch bar in the shirt and it was fun. Would like to have touched, but what can ya do? I was about an inch or 2 off with the 725....I did everything I could do to touch. I totally relaxed and the shirt was holding it up lol I held the weight down there for like 15-16 seconds ...still wouldn't touch lol

The arch bar puts the weight in the back and tri's good, promotes good bar placement and setup...the push is a liitle odd...kinda different, but it did what I wanted to work on.

Good thing about the added back work, more reps in the shirt, and not going so heavy is I could do more work after the shirt...this is the first time I have left the gym without walking like a monkey fukkin a football in a month or so lol

100x3x10

Key Press
60x3x10

Incline Press
185x3x10

abs

Lost my band so did some reps tonight...switch it up a little. Boring really lol
Hopefully hit something good on thur...feel pretty strong right now...

BW was at 309...getting fatter lol

well Rob, I would have to say that you are half right...I have the strength and the shirt to be a 900 pound bencher...but I do not have the technique to be a 900 pound bencher. My arms have to bend soo much to get to my chest it's rediculous. I know what is wrong, but for once I cant fix it! I tried stretching, I tried set up changes...nothing cuts my rom down enough to matter...I guess I just have to be strong enough to bring 900-1000 out of that deep ass hole I have to go in to touch lol

Anyway..plans are to be in the 9's this year....what is your PR again? 1 pound more than that lol

Thanks Marcus..I pride myself on my bar speed.

ME Bench
warmed up to 405x1

4 Brd( bands, unequipped)
405+(200)x3
455+(200)x3
475+(200)x2

2 Brd(chains, equipped)
515+(200)x2 2 Brd
605+(200)x1 1 Brd
655+(200)x1 1/2 Brd
715+(200)x1 2 Brd

CG Reps(from, unequipped)
225x35
225x25

Punch Presses

That's it. Good speed on the 4 brd's. Pretty good workout, but my back was still pretty tired from pulling on tues. Pulled 565x3, so getting stronger there too. BW was up to 309 today...feeling bloated! lol

Pretty good workout. I did this in my loose X opener shirt...so that was good. The loose shirt isn't so loose now, since I got fatter lol

My last rep was a perfect rep! My tech was perfect everything was perfect. I have very few of those so I have to comment when it happens lol The lift was easy and I prolly had more in me, but I wanted to end on that rep it was so good lol
