DE Bench(mm band)
225x4x3
225x6x1

Key Press(mm band)
50x3x10

Lat pulldowns(w/mm band)
280x3x10

Rear Delt Flys
50x3x10

Pullups
BWx3x10

hammers/abs

Did a combo workout tonite. I will normally seperate these two, but I wanted to take the entire week off. I don't like the combo, cause it takes too much time and I don't get all the work done.

Sorry, no vids yet...I have to get my cam fixed...maybe i can get someoen to vid my ME work on thur....

yep..mm=monster mini bands

I actually need to get a few more bands for my personal use. I use to have a full set, but have broken all but the mm band and the blue band(which I gave to jon for the gym)

I need to upgrade to the purple for the lat pulls and the key press, the mm does ok for the de bench...

on a side note...I can tell I haven't been training much lately. I am sore as hell! I also need to regain some of my descent speed on the de work. I did it right for a few sets last night and my damn chest hurt a little from hitting it with the bar so hard lol

and the reason I didn't wait 2 weeks is I got the itch to train again and I was sick of seeing you catch me on the band work! lol

Okay That is what I figured they were I am interest in seeing vidoe on how you put the mm bands to work on the exercises you listed.

Lets just face reality. I will mater the Bencher* method and will pass you up on them as well! LOL!

maybe you will...if your gut gets any bigger you will for sure lol

ME Bench
warmed up to 365x1

4 Brd(bands, raw)
315+150# bandx3
315+250# bandsx3
365+300# bandsx2

2 Brd(shirt, bands)
585+150# bandx1
585+250# bandsx1
605+250# bandsx1

Incline DB's
65x3x10

Punch presses
purple bandx3x15

Well, my plan went to shit lol I planned to take 2 weeks off and didn't do that and I planned to do some raw work today and didn't do that lol

I used my looser rage x today. I was pleased with it's performance. I liked my bar placement as well. The last set was perfect. Just have to keep that up and make it habit....that should keep me from missing these weights at lockout in meets.

I tried the new phenom as well, and lets just say that there is still a lot of work to do before I can use it.

...still no vids. I HAVE to get my cam fixed. I need to show you guys, so you can fix my mistakes...lol

I want to see videos for sure. Do you have any videos of the bencher8 presses that you do? Not sure what those are. I did bands last week and I felt tore up last night doing bds with out them this week. I think I can only handle bands once a month.

lol Rob just calls them bencher8 presses. It's really just moving weight fast...on the eccentric AND concentric portion. I don't care what the weight on the bar is or what percentage it is...I move it fast..unless I am in a shirt lol

I might have some vids on my home comp...I'll have to check and see.

I need to vid the way I am doing it now, so I can look and see what my problems are for sure.

The bands will beat you up...especially if you have any shoulder/elbow issues. I k now they beat the shit out of me, but I like the strength I get...so I just deal with the pain...which is pretty constant lol

The only vids I have on my home comp is a few old ones of me doing some rev band presses, some of me doing straight weight in a shirt and one of me doing 700 and 200 pounds of bands(at least that's what it looks like on the bar)

new ones would be better....gotta get a new cam it looks like.

I would be interested in seeing some of your assitance work that you do with bands. I have the famous Key presses on vidoe saved on my computer. Now if I could just rember to watch the video before I go train I might attempt them. LOL! Something about Powerlifters and memory. LOL! Did you make call? LOL!

I have a question about setting up bands. How do you align them? Are they aligned with where you lockout over your face? Where you touch low on your stomach? In between? I usually align them with my shoulder joint which is in between.

yep, they should be set up under your shoulders. If you set them too high or too low they will pull you out of your groove....especially if you ae using them with your shirt. If you have a strong back you can hold the groove, but I have seen them pull some right out of the groove.

rob, all you have to do with the bands is toss them over the top of the lat machine and then put the loops over the bar. On the key presses or any db press, just twist the band some and put it around you back. I'll try to get vids of them too, as soon as I can get a cam going...
